From strategy on a slide to change in production

Professional services at Maple Networks turn good ideas into working reality. When you already know what you want to achieve, our specialists help you design, build, migrate and optimise the platforms that keep your organisation running. You get hands on delivery, clear ownership and a team that cares about the outcome as much as you do.

Where professional services fits in at Maple

At Maple, professional services sit between consultancy and managed services. Consultancy helps you answer the questions of what and why. Professional services focus on how and when. Once the plan is in place, our delivery teams work with you to execute that plan through structured projects, health checks, migrations and targeted improvement work.

For some customers, our role is to unblock a specific project. For others, we provide the additional capacity and expertise their internal team does not have. In every case, we are there to get the work over the line, safely and with minimal disruption.

What our professional services cover

Cloud and infrastructure projects

From on premises infrastructure to hybrid and cloud first environments, Maple helps you design and deliver the platforms your organisation relies on. Typical projects include server and storage refreshes, cloud landing zones, network and firewall changes and platform upgrades that reduce risk rather than introduce it.

Security projects and remediation

Our security focused professional services help you strengthen your defences without slowing the business down. This can include SIEM and SOC enablement work, vulnerability remediation campaigns, endpoint protection rollouts, email security uplift and hardening projects driven by audit or regulatory findings.

Modern workplace and endpoint

We help IT teams simplify the way devices are built, patched and secured. Projects often cover SCCM and Intune health checks, build and image modernisation, application packaging, patch compliance improvement and configuration changes that improve Microsoft Defender and broader endpoint posture.

Data, reporting and optimisation

You cannot improve what you cannot see. Maple supports customers with targeted data and reporting work linked to our services, such as building meaningful dashboards for compliance, security posture and operational health, or optimising existing tools that are underused or misconfigured.

How we run professional services projects

Every organisation is different, but our approach stays consistent. We focus on outcomes, keep communication clear and make sure your team is brought along at every step.

Stages:

1. Define outcomes and scope

We start by confirming what success looks like, which systems are in scope and what constraints we need to work within. This includes timelines, change windows, internal approvals and any third parties who need to be involved.

2. Design and plan the work

Our engineers shape a delivery plan that suits your environment. That may include technical design documents, build guides and change plans, all written in plain language so stakeholders understand what is happening and why.

3. Deliver with clear communication

Delivery is carried out by Maple engineers who know your environment. We keep you updated through agreed touchpoints, highlight risks early and adapt in a controlled way when something unexpected appears.

4. Knowledge transfer and documentation

Before we consider a piece of work complete, we document what has been done and walk your team through the changes. We want your internal staff to feel confident operating the solution, not dependent on us.

5. Handover or move into managed services

At the end of the project, you can keep ownership in house, keep Maple on retainer for follow up work, or move into a managed service where we continue to monitor and support the platform on an ongoing basis.

Why customers choose Maple for professional services

Professional services can feel very transactional. At Maple we see it differently. When we work on a project, we treat it as part of your bigger journey, not a one off job. Our customers choose us because they want a partner who is technically strong, easy to work with and honest about what will or will not work.

You get:

  • Engineers who can explain complex topics in clear language

  • Delivery teams who respect internal processes and change controls

  • A focus on operational reality, not just ideal designs

  • A partner who will escalate issues early rather than hiding them

Whether we are helping an NHS Trust improve patching, supporting a financial services organisation with security hardening, or guiding a university through a complex migration, we bring the same mindset of care, collaboration and long term thinking.
